Booking your appointment
There are two ways to book your first visit. Our online booking page shows you the times that are open, and you can choose one yourself, at any hour. Or you can call the front desk. That is a good choice if you are in pain, if you are booking for several family members at once, or if you are not sure what kind of appointment you need. We are happy to help you work it out.
Please tell us when you book if anything about the visit worries you, if you need extra time, or if you would like to be seen in Korean. It helps us to plan for you at the start, and it is easier than sorting it out on the day.

Before you arrive
A little preparation at home can make your first appointment shorter and calmer. Here is what we suggest.
- Fill in your new patient forms online. They ask about your medical history, the medications you take and your dental insurance. When you do them ahead, you are not writing on a clipboard in the waiting room.
- Have your insurance details ready: the plan and policy numbers, and the name and date of birth of the person whose plan it is. If you are covered by the Canadian Dental Care Plan, please bring your member card.
- Write down the medications and supplements you take, with the doses. Some affect how we treat you, so this list is a big help to us.
- Jot down anything you want to ask. Many people forget their questions once they are in the chair, and that is completely normal.
We will send you a reminder before your appointment. If the time no longer works for you, please let us know as early as you can so that someone else can use it.
Your records from another dentist
If you have had x-rays taken elsewhere in the last couple of years, they may save you from having them repeated. Your records belong to you, and your previous office will release them when you ask in writing. We can send that request for you once you have signed a consent form. Or you can ask them yourself and have the records sent to us. Whichever is easier for you is fine.
On the day
You will find us at 25 Carlton Street, Suite A, on the north side just east of Yonge, a short walk from College Station. Our contact page has a map.
A first visit usually starts with a friendly conversation. We would like to hear what brought you in, what has been done before, and what you would like to change. A dental examination follows, with x-rays where they are needed to see what an examination alone cannot. Then we will tell you what we found, in plain words, and what we would suggest, if anything.
Nothing is started without your agreement. If treatment is recommended, we will tell you what it involves and what it costs before you decide. You are welcome to take the plan home and think about it.
Paying for your visit
We bill your insurer directly, so on the day you pay only the part your plan does not cover. Our fees follow the Ontario Dental Association fee guide for every patient. If you are wondering how it works, our fees page explains how estimates work and why a plan sometimes pays less than the guide.
